Skyfire 1.5

XRR | December 18th, 2009 - 12:30 am

The new Skyfire 1.5 browser is very impressive. It feels like the capacitive touch on the Zune HD, even though I am still using my resistive touch AT&T Tilt 2. This browser is loaded with user friendly features from full screen, zoom, a cool share this feature and many more awesome features. I tested this browser out by going to my site and clicking my Kobe Bryant post and clicking the hyper link there which takes you straight to YouTube to see his video. To my surprise, as soon as the page started loading the video was already starting. In fact I think the browser is faster than my 3G connection. That is how fast the Skyfire 1.5 browser is. Well don’t just take our word at Xda Rom Reviews for it.  Download Skyfire 1.5 and witness this magnificent browser in action. Don’t forget to come back and tell us how much you enjoyed Skyfire 1.5.

MaxManila Theme by Maxycy

XRR | December 16th, 2009 - 11:46 pm

MaxManila

The MaxManila Theme is a nice customizable theme created by Maxycy. This theme takes your Manila TF3d to another level. Xda Rom Reviews tried this out on our AT&T Tilt 2 and loved it. We were able to try it out while running NRGZ28’s EnergyROM_21884_RHODIUM_10.Dec.2009_StandardM2.5_MaxManila . MaxManila was very well designed. It allows users to toggle several things, from switching clocks, switching to a full screen mode, changing wallpapers and many other things. What I liked most about MaxManila was I was able to add up to 20 shortcuts, which is awesome since in Manila 2.5 there is not a programs tab. The theme was so exciting that I felt like I just bought a new Htc phone. Several chefs have put together a MaxManila version of their roms, so be sure to check them out at your favorite site to find roms. We chose Xda-Developers because that is one of our favorite spots on the web to go when it comes to finding a good rom. Also the NRGZ28 and MaxManila combination was a match made in heaven. Well if your still reading this we recommend you follow us on twitter, facebook, and rss feed. Subscribe, contribute, and come back and check us out from time to time. We strongly recommend you check out MaxManila and come back to let us know how you liked it. Also if you like it donate to Maxycy so he can continue to make more great themes.

Apology

Apology Letter

Xda Rom Reviews would like to apologize to anyone we may have offended by our opinions and views that were expressed in recent rom reviews. We have now decided that the site will have reviews about many roms that are out there, but will not include our own opinion on any rom, app, chef, or phone in a negative way. Instead we will review the chef, app, rom, and device in a non biased view and leave it to the subscribers and readers to express their opinions no matter if it is negative or positive. Xda Rom Reviews feels that this site was needed so that rom users can express their opinion without having a thread shut down on them, and so that they are not ridiculed by other members of the community that they support.  Here we invite you to express your opinion and know that you can do so without us closing down a post or thread. We will monitor post and comments and if we feel that they are personal attacks versus honest reviews and opinions, then we may take action which may result in post, comment, and review deletion. At any time we fell we may terminate a membership and may ban a member from the site. Xda Rom Reviews appreciates all chefs and developers for all the hard work they do day in and day out. We also are personal fans of many sites out there that cover the same material. We have now updated several post and have made some post deletions in order to immediately take action to create a fair review environment for chefs, developers and subscribers to read, write and express their opinions to. If at any time you feel Xda Rom Reviews has done anything offensive please do not hesitate to contact us so we can resolve this issue in a timely fashion. Thank you all for your contributions and support.

Sincerly,

Xda Rom Reviews

Xda Rom Reviews would like you to nominate your favorite chef and favorite rom for the Kaiser,Raphael, and Rhodium by submitting an email through the contact link at the top of the site. Please leave a detailed message stating the chefs name you would like to nominate, the rom you would like to nominate, the device the rom is for, and a link to where the chef and rom can be found. If the specific info is not included in the message, then your nomination will not be validated.  Xda Rom Reviews feels that it is important to acknowledge the chefs who cook the wonderful roms we use on a daily basis. The nomination period will last from Dec 10th-Dec 15th. After the night of the 15th a poll will be launched to vote for your favorite chef and rom for the Kaiser,Raphael, and Rhodium. The contest ends Dec 31st, and the winners will be announced at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately the only prize at this time is bragging rights. TAEL ROM v3.28002 STANDARD EDITION

XRR | December 6th, 2009 - 9:32 pm

Tael ROM V3.28002

First of all, I would like to thank my brother for telling me to check out Tael’s roms for the Raphael.  I have went through many Romeos, and NRGZ28 roms for the Raphael and loved both. My brother mentioned to me a couple a months ago that I should check out Tael’s Rom. Well after launching this site, I knew I needed to start flashing other roms for the Kaiser,Raphael, and Rhodium. So I figured let me flash this Tael rom and see what it is all about. Well after flashing my Fuze I can now say that the TAEL ROM v3.28002  STANDARD EDITION lives up to it’s name of being fast, stable, and tweaked. What I noticed was the rom setup was fast, startup is fast, it is very quick on the touch response and is loaded with awesome features. This is all in my opinion and as always Xda Rom Reviews would love to hear your thoughts!
